Ornament SAL - August 2013

Image
It's time for posting my new ornaments that I've made when I was at the Belgian coast in August ... again they're from the Christmas Village houses by Country Cottage Needleworks. Currently I'm working on the 7th house (didn't stitch anything other than these from July on :-).   Here's all the "published" houses untill now. As previously said, my plan is to finish them into a banner hanging - only need to buy some Christmas themed fabrics :-). Have a nice weekend! P.S.: I'm expecting ... a new toy (what did you think else :-)! More about it in one of my next mails.

Well, It's that time of year when holidays are over, you've started working again and fall will be arriving soon ... Then it's time to take out your holiday pics again and dream :-). First of all ... a couple of lovely pictures :-) Uzès   St. Didier     www.stitchy-fingers.blogspot.com   Isle-sur-la-Sorgue     Lovely road and dried out stream in Vaison-la-Romaine   Shade under the sycamore (who doesn't want to sit there and read/embroider/...) and a washing place in Le Beaucet     Lots of possibilities to buy lovely things ...   Oldtimer cars for little boys   Potterie and table linnens   Biscuits and Provencal clothes and napkins       Spices, soap and olives   Lovely dresses (can try to make myself) and adorable soaps   Bags and straw hats (pitty my husband didn't buy such a hat - loved them)   He realy enjoyed playing / performing for his audience ... I only missed the ape

New addiction ... Pinterest

I'm home again ... at work again ... summer is almost gone again ... :-) I've had a lovely time together with my little family and hope to have a lot of those summers in the future. For the moment I don't have a lot of piccies to show you - I still need to download them from my camera. However, a lot of serious eye candy is to be found at my latest addiction since a couple of weeks ... PINTEREST! Seriously ... I could go on pinning and pinning and pinning (sounds a little bit like that Duracell rabbit). If you don't know it, you don't know what your missing. However I should warn you in advance : it's really, really, really addictive!!! Here's my page . See you later!
