Inspiration on holiday - Provence - part 1

Well,

It's that time of year when holidays are over, you've started working again and fall will be arriving soon ... Then it's time to take out your holiday pics again and dream :-).

First of all ... a couple of lovely pictures :-)

Uzès

St. Didier

 Isle-sur-la-Sorgue

Lovely road and dried out stream in Vaison-la-Romaine

Shade under the sycamore (who doesn't want to sit there and read/embroider/...)
and a washing place in Le Beaucet

Lots of possibilities to buy lovely things ...

Oldtimer cars for little boys

Potterie and table linnens

Biscuits and Provencal clothes and napkins

Spices, soap and olives

Lovely dresses (can try to make myself) and adorable soaps

Bags and straw hats (pitty my husband didn't buy such a hat - loved them)

He realy enjoyed playing / performing for his audience
... I only missed the ape :-)

And now some inspiration for quilting, embroidery etc.:

Cross stitched hearts

Lovely crocheted bags (already found a pattern that's quite similar on Pinterest)

Simply could've bought those hats for my girls but it will be more fun to crochet them myself

Jeans bag ... I have at leats 10 jeans that I need to recycle

Isn't this a lovely motif for a small quilt?

Ironwork is always nice for quilting patterns ...

Hope you enjoyed the insight ... ;-)

Have a nice -crafty - day!
