Châtelaine challenge

As you may - or might not - know, I'm a real fan of the designs of Martina Rosenberg (formerly Weber) because she creates such beautifull pieces. I wouldn't call 2013 a good year for my "Chatelaine adventures", so that's why I've decided to participate in a SAL created by Joyce . I have many pieces to chose from ranging from just started to half finished (unfortunatelly not more than that :-) and decided to give my long neglected Misty Morning Vineyard some loving attention. Here's a picture from how it should look like once finished : Stitching on the peacocks for the moment the middle is almost finished except for the beading and the flowers Everything will be hosted by Joyce at the Chatelaine Stitchers' blog  as we all progress in our SAL :-). Hi all, Three weeks since my last post! Shame on me!!! It's not that I didn't want to post or that I didn't have inspiration but I have had soooo many things on my plate the last couple of weeks that I simply didn't find the time nor energy. We celebrated the anniversary of my eldest DD (8 years now) with two parties - one for us adults and one for DD's girlfriends :-). On Monday I'm following a sewing course (remember the image of tissues a couple of posts ago) and on Thursday it's knitting time! This doesn't mean that I haven't been busy on the crafting front. Soo ... what am I up to? Lots and lots of things! Sewing: still working on my skirt (hey it's only a couple of hours each week) Knitting: working on the second part of this vest which is called "Medieval). I just love those cables on the front!   I also love this sweater and think that I'll get some materials to make it - in another colour. Imagine a deep red bo...
