Making plans

First of all I would like to thank you all for your warm and comforting words of consolation and support on the passing-by of our four-legged friend. These have been much appreciated!

On a merrier note I can tell you that I've been busy making plans for this year - executing them is another thing!

So what did I get for my birthday money last year (funny to say it like that) ...

A couple of books ... I just love those German designers!!!
(there are a couple of really lovely Christmas designs in them -
and not only for hanging on your wall)

To help improve my "growing" (ahem) sewing skills :-)

Bonheur des Dames - Flowerpots (140 cm x 140 cm)
I also have their "Décembre en fleurs" tablecloth (white flowers)

Bonheur des Dames - Janvier & Février (existing series but my start of collecting them)

Plum Street Samplers - Cinnamon Stars

Plum Street Samplers - Harvest Delivery
(these are the first charts that I've bought from this designer - but I think not the last ones
= I also adore her Wiener designs :-)

Plenty of things to work on - not even counting all the things that are tucked away in my chest of drawers, closets and other nooks :-).

I'm already considering Easter stitching - Valentine is too soon! Soooo ... I hope to show you some progress (on existing or new things) soon!

Have a nice day!
Ann

Wat heb je een borduurheerlijkheden uitgezocht. Prachtige patroontjes. Het boek Winterlicht heb ik ook (al een paar jaar) in de kast staan. Het is er nog steeds niet van gekomen om er iets uit te maken maar dat geeft niets, er in bladeren is ook leuk om te doen.
