Back from Provence
As you've might have guessed due to my longer absence from my blog, I was away on holiday for almost two weeks (I didn't post about it before leaving due to all those stories of thieves scanning for absences on the internet).
It were some blissfull weeks together with our little family. Nothing but us four soaking in a lot of sunshine and beautifull weather! Ah, I wish I could've stayed there ...!
We went to the region around the Mont Ventoux and visited some of those lovely villages that we already knew well like Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Vaison-la-Romaine, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, Uzès, ... plus a couple of new ones.
I didn't take the Serengeti Mandala with me as part four was finished and I knew I wouldn't be able to download part five in time (in the meantime I also learned that a good friend of Martina the designer deceased so everything has taken a delay for at least 10 days - part 5 hasn't been released yet).
So I've taken a couple of other things with me ... I've managed to start AND finish the January and February house by Country Cottage Needleworks and I did stitch the house on the March design during the way back home (10-12 hours drive from the south of France to Belgium).
I also visited a quilt exhibition quite unforeseen (there was a small road sign indicating "exposition patchwork" when driving from Ste Cecile-les-Vignes to Crestet (where we had our lunch on a panoramic terrace at the top of the village/mountain.
As for stash enhancement ... I've bought a couple of magazines, books, quilting fabrics and ribbons :-)
More stories and pictures to follow!
Have a nice week!
Ann

Glad you had such a nice trip--looking forward to hearing more :)
En nu maar hopen dat het nog een beetje zomers weer wil blijven in België en Nederland.
Groetjes Yvon.
