Small progress

Here's an update on my Chatelaine Serengeti mandala. Although I didn't finish part 1 yet (due to the looooong wait for my kit :-), I couldn't wait to start part two in order to see those elephants.

Now, the trixy thing with Chatelaines is always this ... You see a part, think that it's small and that it will be done in no time. Well, think again!!! For this part, besides the black, 10-12 colours were used to create the sunset, including one golden sparkly Treasure Braid! And then I didn't even talk about all those 3/4th stitches (which means you have to do a 1/4th in another colour)!

The weekend is near so spend it wisely! ;-)

Ann, Serengeti looks amazing!! :) And it's SO very true what you said about Chatelaines. You look at it and think you'll have it down in a day or so...
