IHSW October

Hi Ladies,

My oh my, did time fly! Last weekend we had the IHSW again and I must say that I'm quite pleased with the results I've booked! Normally my weekend is always quite busy but on Sunday I decided that it was MY DAY and I completely ignored my laundry and other house chores that were screaming loudly to me! ;-)

I managed to finish my fifth Santa by The Prairie Schooler, made a good start with the sixth and made an entire second block for my quilt.

Plans have changed a little bit by now ... Normally I was going to make nine blocks but now I've decided for 12 (the quilt will fit better on my "tea table" when finished).

P.S.: That's not oxo but "lait russe" in my mug (basically some coffee and lots of milk ;-)

I'll show you some more quilting tomorrow (last quilt lesson)!

I'm loving your santas! How are you going to finish them? Separately? Or with a border around each and made into a quilt/wall hanging?

Hey! I'm a new follower :)

Doesn't it feel great to just have a day all to yourself! Let the laundry scream all it wants, the rest and relaxation is alllllll worth it :)

Lovely stitching on the Santa's! Make me get in the mood for some x-mas stitching :):):)

Cheers,
Melissa

Lovely stitching! I love to collect santa's and stitch them. I just completed a patchwork santa myself.
Happy Stitching

Oh my, these Santas look gorgeous. I'm a huge PS fan and collect their books. So I should have this one somewhere...
