Wow, can't believe it's almost a week that I didn't post! Let's say that I was quite busy during the last week :-)
I've been to a quilt course for beginners on Thursday (4 lessons each Thursday in October), been washing my fabrics - all of them - on Saturday and clipping and tidying them on Sunday. I also started stitching on the first block in order to have something to "show off" this Thursday :-).
The lady giving the class told us that she wouldn't have the time to explain nor show how you could quilt / stitch through when finished ... and this was the main reason why I'm going! I think I'll have to start to Google or find good instructions on the net or on YouTube.
The block is more or less like this one (found on the net) ... I'll try to post pictures soon.
It wasn't easy to start from scratch ... she told us "go ahead" and everyone stared at a blank page for quite some time ;-).
I'll keep you posted about my progress!
