Word verification

I've had it! This weekend alone I've been bombarded with spam mail! I received something like 60 messages from "anonymous" ranging from "visit my site" to "make things bigger"! And this goes on as we speak!


So I'm truly sorry to say and do so but for the first time since I've started with this blog, I've turned on the word verification and registered id's only feature.

Hope this will calm down within a couple of weeks!

I know how you feel! I'm still dodging it for now, but I know it's just a matter of time before I have to go full hog. Limiting postings to followers helped me a bit (at least for now)!

I can understand sweetie! When that happens, we really have to turn it on =/ Maybe in a couple of weeks they will leave you alone and everything will be back to normal!
Main problem is from blogger team, they really made a terrible word verification method =/ The old one was 1000 times better! But don't worry, we will deal with it. I'm pretty sure no one will stop commenting on your blog for that ;)

Favourite designers - Renato Parolin and Rovaris

This time we travel to the south of Europe ... Italy being our destination ;-) RENATO PAROLIN I can't remember how I got to know the designs of Renato Parolin (who doesn't have a website nor a blog)... First ornament of 2013!

I've finished it yesterday so I guess I'm still good for the 2013 Ornament SAL :-). I'm not completely sure if it's only the stitching that needs to be finished or the entire ornament ... I'll have to check that! So without further delay, here it is: Spring in my Garden Barbara Ana Designs   It was a real joy to stitch but the only thing I didn't like doing were the bees ... very small and fidly :-)   I've also changed the colour of the rabbit, chicken and the bees wings from DMC Desert Sand (colour variation) to 738 (rabbit and chicken) and white (bees wings) ... otherwise they wouldn't show well on the fabric.    In the meantime I've already started the Barbara Ana "Owl-o-ween" design :-)

Long time no see

Well it has been an awfully long time since I last posted here but I switched to Instagram (annsombel) a couple of years back (December 2016 to be exact) as I encountered some problems with posting on Blogspot and I didn't always know what to say. I kept following all of you who also have Instagram profiles but I admit that I'm missing the rest of you so ... I'll be posting here sometimes (let's say once a month or maybe a bit less) to keep you updated :-).
