First love

No ... I'm not going to talk about boys here! ;-)

My first STITCHING love before I got to know all those other wonderfull designers, kits, fabrics, threads and beads were kits from Permin of Copenhagen, Lanarte and especially Thea Gouverneur. Thea's were amongst the first large pieces I made and untill this moment I'm really fond of the brand/designer.

I've already stitched some designs from her, but recently she released a couple of other beauties.

Tomorrow I'm going to Creativa Brussels and there sure will be lots of new (and old) stitching goodies to admire ... I'll post about it in the coming days.

What impressive pieces! I can't imagine the time it must take to stitch a piece like that... Your Indonesian Dancer is incredible, Ann!!

This time we travel to the south of Europe ... Italy being our destination ;-) RENATO PAROLIN I can't remember how I got to know the designs of Renato Parolin (who doesn't have a website nor a blog)... Today is my 39th birthday! I never figured out whether mom did this on purpose or not ... just before Christmas (my birthday is never celebrated big time)! :-) I've received some money and a book coupon so I guess I'll do some stash enhancing ... cross stich, quilting or knitting ... what will it be? Long time no see

Well it has been an awfully long time since I last posted here but I switched to Instagram (annsombel) a couple of years back (December 2016 to be exact) as I encountered some problems with posting on Blogspot and I didn't always know what to say. I kept following all of you who also have Instagram profiles but I admit that I'm missing the rest of you so ... I'll be posting here sometimes (let's say once a month or maybe a bit less) to keep you updated :-).
