April's Fools Day today ... and no this won't be a mail trying to fool you!

Yesterday I accidentally stumbled upon really nice "pelottes" of wool. I've bought three pieces but the only thing is I'm not quite sure what to do with it. Am I going for a scarf or should I be ambitious and purchase some more and go for something larger (a bedspread, ...)?


A nice scarf I've seen over here tempts me. It's made with I-cords, which I didn't hear of before. It doesn't seem to be toooooo difficult but ... I don't know how to knit! ;-)

Decisions, decisions, ... ;-)

Hoi Ann, de wol ziet er prachtig uit, ik heb even een kijkje genomen bij het voorbeeld, ik hoop dat de maakster je kan helpen, het ziet er wel heel leuk uit.

Wat er ook van gemaakt gaat worden, het zal zeker mooi zijn.

This time we travel to the south of Europe ... Italy being our destination ;-) RENATO PAROLIN I can't remember how I got to know the designs of Renato Parolin (who doesn't have a website nor a blog)... Today is my 39th birthday! I never figured out whether mom did this on purpose or not ... just before Christmas (my birthday is never celebrated big time)! :-) I've received some money and a book coupon so I guess I'll do some stash enhancing ... cross stich, quilting or knitting ... what will it be? Long time no see

Well it has been an awfully long time since I last posted here but I switched to Instagram (annsombel) a couple of years back (December 2016 to be exact) as I encountered some problems with posting on Blogspot and I didn't always know what to say. I kept following all of you who also have Instagram profiles but I admit that I'm missing the rest of you so ... I'll be posting here sometimes (let's say once a month or maybe a bit less) to keep you updated :-).
