New HAED

Yes, I know ... do I really need another big and complicated design?

I would say YES because I thought this would be perfect for my parents (although they don't have to expect it soon :-)

I bought the chart yesterday evening ... and I cursed afterwards because HAED was giving a special promotion for the 29th of March = 50% off each and every chart (and I bought it a couple of hours before at the full price)! Oh well ...

So here's the beauty!

The only thing I need to do now is search for a piece of linnen that is big enough (I prefer to stitch on 32 or 36 count with 2 over 2 - not on the 25 count as is recommended).

Hope you like it (and my parents as well - they don't know, but I'm going to ask them tomorrow evening without revealing it will be for them)!?

It is a beautiful HAED! And i never seen it before.
Yes, it is a lot of work... i have 3 HAEDs to stich...but mostly i want to work on just one: Fairy Bubbles.

Wat een prachtig patroon, wel balen dat het net voor de sale was.
Ik had me voor genomen om degene die ik heb gekocht pas aan het einde van het jaar te kopen met de kerstsale, maar dit was gewoon een te mooi aanbod.

Succes met het zoeken naar de goede stof.

This time we travel to the south of Europe ... Italy being our destination ;-) RENATO PAROLIN I can't remember how I got to know the designs of Renato Parolin (who doesn't have a website nor a blog)... Today is my 39th birthday! I never figured out whether mom did this on purpose or not ... just before Christmas (my birthday is never celebrated big time)! :-) I've received some money and a book coupon so I guess I'll do some stash enhancing ... cross stich, quilting or knitting ... what will it be? Long time no see

Well it has been an awfully long time since I last posted here but I switched to Instagram (annsombel) a couple of years back (December 2016 to be exact) as I encountered some problems with posting on Blogspot and I didn't always know what to say. I kept following all of you who also have Instagram profiles but I admit that I'm missing the rest of you so ... I'll be posting here sometimes (let's say once a month or maybe a bit less) to keep you updated :-).
